Manti Carnegie Library

This library was constructed of local brick in 1910. It is influenced by Neo-classical design with its formal, two-story entry portico, round-arched entry bay, triangular Greek front gable and classical bracketed and trim.

The library began in 1901 as a project of the Manti Ladies Literary Club. The first 39 books placed in the Library were donated by members of the Literary Club. The building continues to house Manti’s public library.
