Fairview Museum of History and Art will present the 18th Annual Fairview Lace Days, July 13-15 in cooperation with the Beehive Lacers. Classes will be held Monday and Wednesday from 10 am to 4 pm., with pre-registration required. Non participants are welcome to observe. Participants must have a basic knowledge of lacing.
On Tuesday, July 14th, bring your own lace and join the lacers from 10 am to 4 pm. Come anytime and learn more about the different types of lace and the tools used to make it. There will be demonstrations information and vendor’s sellling supplies.

The Sanpete Valley will host bicycle racing enthusiasts from across Utah in the 5th annual Classic Bicycle Race. Cyclists of all ages will compete in 46, 75, and 99-mile races on courses that wind through the local countryside. This course offers rolling hills and beautiful scenery, all without a lot of automobile traffic. The somewhat quiet Main Street of Spring City also provides a great location to see each of the categories battle it out for bragging rights and prizes. The race features categories for men, women, juniors 17 or younger, and master-level competitors.

This event includes a 25 mile and a 50 mile ride in the country just north of the Gunnison Cemetery. Base camp at the old rodeo grounds. Cost is $50.00 for the 25 mile ride and $85.00 for the 50 mile ride. This includes a catered Dutch Oven dinner after the ride at the Gunnison Park.
